TWO LUCKY people walked away with food hampers, as Age Concern South held a raffle last weekend at Iceland´s store in Torrevieja.

Hundreds of tickets were sold with a grand total of 564 euros raised to spend on helping the over-fifties across the southern Costa Blanca.

Store manager, James Lound, drew the winning tickets watched by Age Concern president, Maureen Payne.

The Age Concern Day Centre at La Siesta, Torrevieja and the charity shops in Torrevieja and Los Montesinos will be closed for an Easter break from Wednesday April 17th at 1.30 pm, and will all reopen on Tuesday April 23rd.
