BUZZING SQUATTERS

A GRANADA household has got to the bottom of why a buzzing noise was keeping them awake at night for the last two years.

Bee-keeper Sergio Guerrero discovered that 80 thousand bees were nestled inside the couple´s bedroom wall, after Granada council in the Andalucia region advised them to call in an the expert.

Despite the buzzing, and theories that the noise was coming from an electrical source, it wasn´t until recently that the home owners decided to get close to the wall and then heard the sound of the bees.

Guerrero said that he was amazed that with the size of the hive, the couple didn´t have a constant buzzing in their ears.

“I can’t work out how they´ve lived with this noise for the last two years”.
