Travel giants Jet2, have made the decision owing to ongoing uncertainty surrounding travel plans during the current pandemic, as well as restrictions put in place by the UK Foreign Office.
Flights and holidays to Malaga and Alicante in Spain will be suspended until February 10th 2021.
In an announcement made on Twitter, the airline said: “Due to the ongoing uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the latest government travel advice, we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights and holidays to Malaga, Alicante and Faro (The Algarve).”
The news comes as the Foreign Office continues to advise Brits against all non-essential travel to Spain and Portugal.
Any customers affected by the latest cancellations do not need to get in touch with Jet2.com, as a member of the airline will contact them to issue a refund.
