Manhunt for Quesada Brit killer

Manhunt as teenage Brit stabbed to death in Quesada Spain at a house party, Spanish police are on the hunt for a male suspected of fatally stabbing a young British tourist, visiting the Costa Blanca.

Twenty-one-year-old Ben Nesbit, from Southport, Merseyside, suffered the fatal knife wounds during the early hours of Thursday morning in Ciudad Quesada in the province of Alicante.

Local media reports claim the victim fell into an argument with the suspect inside a house on urbanization, popular with British ex-pat residents.

The resulting fight spilled out onto the street outside the property, where the stabbing is alleged to have occurred, according to police reports, which attach no blame to the victim.

Following the incident, which took place last Thursday, October 1st, at around 3 am, during a house party, the police have launched a manhunt to find the attacker.

Speaking to local press on Merseyside, close family friend Laura Tasker, from Ainsdale, said,

“Ben was a big part of our life.He was my son’s best friend …..Him and Ben were always together, they were like brothers. They had each other’s back all the time, they understood each other.”

“He would always come here for tea and he always liked the cakes I made. He spent his 21st birthday here with us, I got him a card and presents and he was so grateful, bless him.

“We loved him. He was funny, honest, loyal and a good lad.”

Laura explained that Ben had joked with her seventeen year old son about his upcoming trip, by saying, ‘I’ve got a pair of shorts and £50 in my pocket and I’m going to Spain’.

Ben is survived by his Grandmother and Sister.
