SPAIN’S largest supermarket chain, Valencia based Mercadona, has become the latest retailer to start selling face masks. They will be available in-store from 14 May and will retail at six euros for a pack of ten disposable masks. French hyper-market chain Carrefour started selling them online a fortnight ago at €8.90 for ten while Dia and Lidl also now sell them although only Lidl’s can be purchased in their stores rather than online. Demand has been high and Mercadona have said they are providing a service following customer feedback.
